The terms and conditions governing the use of FlashVSR
2025/10/15
Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FlashVSR website and video super-resolution services. By accessing or using FlashVSR at flashvsr.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Use of Services
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that FlashVSR will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Video processing times may vary based on server load, video length, and resolution.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Subscriptions and Billing
Automatic Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled before the renewal date.
Cancellation. Canceling your subscription disables automatic renewal. Your paid features and benefits remain available until the end of your current billing period.
Payment Failure and Grace Period. If a renewal payment fails, your account enters a grace period (typically 3 days). During the grace period:
- You retain access to your current paid plan's features and concurrent limits.
- You will not receive new billing-cycle subscription credits. New credits are issued only after payment is successfully recovered.
- You may continue using subscription credits from the previous billing period that have not yet expired, up to the end of the grace period.
- If payment is recovered before the grace period ends, previous-period grace-extended credits are cleared and new billing-cycle credits are issued.
- If payment is not recovered before the grace period ends, your account is downgraded to the free plan and any outstanding subscription credits expire.
One-Time Credit Packages. Credit packages purchased separately are not affected by subscription payment failures. They remain available according to their own expiry date.
Subscription Credits. Subscription credits are issued at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Unused subscription credits typically expire at the end of the billing cycle or grace period.
Refunds, Chargebacks, and Disputes. Refunds, payment reversals, or chargebacks may result in the revocation of subscription access, subscription credits, or associated benefits. Purchasing-credit packages associated with the disputed payment may also be revoked.
Credits and Usage
Credit System. Video upscaling and other paid features require credits. Credits are consumed when a job is submitted for processing.
Credit Packages. One-time credit packages are purchased separately from subscriptions and are governed by their own expiry terms.
Refunds for Failed Jobs. If an upscaling job fails through no fault of your own, credits consumed for that job may be refunded at our discretion.
Refund, Cancellation, Trials, and Credit Expiration
Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal or the account controls provided by the service. Cancellation stops future automatic renewal, but paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period unless a refund, chargeback, dispute, legal requirement, or policy violation requires earlier restriction.
Refunds and Reversals. Approved refunds, legally required refunds, chargebacks, or payment reversals may revoke subscription access, credit grants, bonus credits, promotional benefits, or other paid entitlements associated with the affected payment. Refund eligibility may depend on the payment provider, Merchant of Record, checkout terms, local law, and whether credits or generated outputs have already been used.
Trials and Promotions. Free trials, coupons, promotional credits, beta credits, or bonus credits may have separate limits, shorter expiration periods, reduced support scope, usage caps, or withdrawal rules. We may end or modify a promotion if it is abused or if required by provider, legal, or operational constraints.
Credit Expiration and Value. Subscription credits do not roll over unless explicitly stated. Credit packages and promotional credits expire according to the expiry terms shown at purchase, grant, or account display time. Credits have no cash value, are not legal tender, are not transferable, and may only be used inside the service.
Payment Provider
Payments may be processed by us directly or by a third-party payment provider. In some cases, the payment provider may act as the Merchant of Record and be responsible for collecting payment, issuing invoices, handling taxes, and processing legal refunds and disputes. We will specify which provider applies in the checkout and billing interface.
